September Birchbox 2017 Review + Swatches

My second month getting Birchbox and I must admit this box is pretty good for only $10.00. Let’s get into it!

1. Lord & Berry #1153 Strobing Pencil:

Glides on smoothly, highly pigmented (striking sliver color), & can be used anywhere! Down your nose, cupids bow, brow bone, inner corner of your eye, etc.

2. Beauty Protector oil:

Smells like heaven!! It smells like vanilla brown sugar from bath & body works and I’m in love! Besides the amazing smell, this product leaves my hair feeling lightweight, glossy shine, & frizz-free. So far so good! This hair oil also protects your hair from UV rays and heat styling, score!

3. Marcelle CC cream golden glow SPF35:

I personally love a full coverage foundation every time I do my makeup but I have been loving this CC cream for days that I want a little something on my skin. Its light coverage evens out my skin tone, provides hydration and contains 24K pure gold to help reduce the look of wrinkles and bring a glow to your skin.

4. Origins Checks and Balances Frothy face wash:

A little bit goes a long way with this facial cleaner since it foams so easily plus it’s gentle for any skin type and helps balance oil production while softening dry areas. I love this cleanser because it’s super simple and leaves my face nice and clean, yay!

5. Kiehl’s rare earth deep pore cleansing masque:

This mask is made out of amazonian white clay that will help unclog pores and reveal a clearer complexion, I do think this is true. When I applied this mask I thought it was going to be heavy but it actually was very light weight and washed off nice leaving my skin feeling fresh!

Overall I would recommend trying out birchbox, you get 5 deluxe size samples every month for $10.00. I still think I prefer my Ipsy glam bag but we will find out in the upcoming months to see if that’s true!

Until next time,

Camille
