Ipsy Glam Bag June 2017

Turn the volume up pleaseeeeeee! This month, my Ipsy glam bag theme is to challenge yourself to freely express yourself, to be seen, to be heard. Just shout out your message! So sorry I can’t hear you, I’m too busy chasing my dreams! Let’s review!

1. Beauty Basics Travel Beauty Sponge

So right off the bat this sponge is a nice size for a travel sponge but it does feel hard unlike my beauty blender that’s soft and squishy. This sponge blends out my concealer nicely when I have the sponge damp but this is a little too hard for my taste in beauty sponges and especially if i’m using the sponge around my eyes so I’ll just use this sponge to blend out my contour or to just pat all over to pick up any extra products that shouldn’t be on my face. But when this sponge dies I will not repurchase it since I like my sponges more soft feeling so with all that being said I would give this a 5/10 it’s not bad but just not my taste in sponges!

2. Beauty For Real Eyeliner in 24 Karat

Gel formula eyeliner is my favorite since I don’t want it to tug on my eyes and cause wrinkles in the long run. This eyeliner glides like a dream and it’s waterproof so it won’t move or smudge when you’re at your summer pool party! The color is a pretty golden bronze shade that I can see wearing all over my lid or as a winged liner this summer, and even as a brow bone highlight! This product is a 10/10 since it doesn’t tug and lasts all day!

3. NYX Whipped Lip & Cheek Color in Cocoa Bean

This color is so pretty! The perfect mauve shade will go with any eye look and blends so well on the cheeks or as a lip color. And since this formula is a whipped texture it gives your face moisturize and has a little shine to it to give you the perfect cheek color this summer. Its light weight as well. 10/10 the color is perfect for me and works so well for being a drug store item!

4. Hey Honey Uncover Detoxifying Mud Mask

This mask has a mix of dead sea black mud, honeysuckle, aloe, and Propolis. It helps clarify and detox your skin of impurities while being gentle even for sensitive skin like mine. It works really nice and when I wash it off it has some time of exfoliate to it which makes my skin super smooth and fresh! 10/10.

5. theBalm Blush in Balm Springs

This blush is so tiny… And it’s a pink color which I don’t normally use. It does go on nicely and blends well but I just wished this was a different color so 8/10 since it does work but I just don’t see myself wearing this color that much in the future.

What do you think of my bag this month? Do you think it’s worth $10.00? If you haven’t tried Ipsy glam bag and want to try it you can use my link so I can get points!
