Beauty Tip Tuesday: Exfoliating your body

Do you ever feel like you’ve washed your body so much but you still don’t feel clean? That you need a deeper wash? Well exfoliating your body can help. Exfoliating your body helps promote blood flow while removing the dead skin cells off your body so your body creams can penetrate better so your whole body can feel moisturized! Trust me, after you have exfoliated your body, your skin will thank you by looking fresh and glowing and feeling baby smooth!

So how do we get started? Well, there are different methods of exfoliating your body. You can use a loofah, body brush, body sponge, or my personal favorite, a body scrub. I personally exfoliate my body at least 2x per week. Coming out of the shower with freshly shaved legs and my whole body scrubbed feels amazing! Especially when I lather my body with a body cream after I’m dried off to have my skin feeling extra delicious! Body scrubs have loads of benefits for your body, such as smoother skin, minimizing the appearance of dark spots, and improves the effectiveness of moisturizers. While body brushes or sponges can have similar benefits, I especially love scrubs because of how easy it is to use; you can even make your own at home! I’m planing on doing a D.I.Y video on my Youtube channel shortly after I have mastered some amazing recipes that are easy to do! But for the time being some of my favorite body scrubs are, Tree Hut, Clarins Body Scrub, & 100% Natural Arabica Coffee Scrub. There’s a lot of others one that I’ve tried and didn’t like and even more that I want to try in the future! You can get body scrubs basically anywhere, Target, Amazon, Ulta, Whole foods, Walmart, CVS, etc. So go ahead drive to your nearest supermarket and get yourself a body scrub and your body will thank you! Make sure you lather your skin with a body butter afterwards so your skin can feel extra smooth and lovely!

Until next time,
